What makes art unique, what makes one's own art unique, is a difficult question and a long road for any artist.
As a realistic painter who has worked in the field of tension between photorealistic, hyperrealistic and fantastic themes, it has always been important to me to penetrate the technical aspects of painting as well as the content. Anyone who sees my paintings in the original will notice that they are extremely real in terms of perception, like windows into a world in which you can visually immerse yourself. It has always been my aim to break through the invisible barrier of "yes, a painted picture on the wall", to draw the viewer into the picture, to give his perception the impulse of "authenticity", i.e. reality. Why? Because then the content of the picture is experienced and felt differently, as "true", and the subject of the picture can be experienced as if you were standing in that scene in "real" life. Scene is a good keyword here, because I also stage the pictures; the landscapes in particular consist of combined and invented content, with which I want to get to the core of my feeling and experience of the world.
